About the Masterclass
Welcome to this course on Hindustani rhythms, delivered by one of Hindustani music's greatest percussionists - Pt. Tanmoy Bose. If you are a musician or a dancer who wants to explore Hindustani classical rhythms and incorporate it into your practice, this course is for you. If you are a tabla player who wants to learn advanced techniques and move to the next level, this course will help.

About the Instructor
Pt. Tanmoy Bose is a renowned tabla player, musical producer, and composer. He has travelled across the Middle East, North America, Europe, and India experimenting with timeless Jazz, Indian Classical Music, Folk Music and indigenous drumming. He has been a part of multiple Grammy award-winning albums – Full Circle, Carnegie Hall (2000), and Concert for George (2004).
In 2002, he created the musical group The Taal Tantra Experience. Through this project, he showcased familiar sounds through unfamiliar mediums, cross-cultural rhythm, and devices. He is now hosting an online self-paced course, Understanding Hindustani Rhythms, on SaPa's virtual learning platform.
