What our students are saying

I really like to learn songs quickly. I like that my teacher knows me really well and always makes sure I'm learning at a pace that keeps me excited. She makes sure to send me recordings and karaoke tracks so I can practise well during the week before my next class

- Aatmika, age 11, student

It's nice to see my daughter enjoying herself while also practising consistently. She gets individual attention and feedback from her teacher, which helps her.

- Nisha, SaPa Parent

I still have some more questions

The Western music vocal classes curriculum includes both theoretical and practical elements of Western music. At SaPa, we start off by teaching you warm-up exercises, breathing techniques, notes, and simple songs. You will then move ahead in a structured manner at a pace that suits you to learn different kinds of songs.

We teach a wide variety of genres - from rhymes and folk songs to classical pieces and contemporary music, and of course, film songs!

As we are in touch with you and our educators, we will connect you with the appropriate Western vocal music educator based on your requirements. You only have to book an appointment with our SaPa expert :) And don’t worry, all our educators are inspired and inspiring!

Naturally, it would depend on your hours of practice. :) You should be able to master simple songs within a few months. For more difficult numbers, it would be good to train your voice for a few years. If you want to make this your profession, how does a lifetime sound? :) In the meanwhile, here are some tips to improve your Western vocal singing skills.

Everyone has a voice range. However, with continuous practice and training, you can slowly improve your range in both directions - both your higher and lower range!

Request your educator and if it is within your singing level and is a natural progression in your training, it should be possible!

We have the best of both worlds right now! We are in the process of shifting our classes from online to physical ones. But we still also have some online classes going on. Please do contact our expert to find out how the class will be conducted.

Once you sign up for the course, we will share your phone number with a Western vocal teacher, after which the classes will be scheduled on a mutually-agreed platform like Zoom or Skype as per the slots chosen by you. But before that, we would recommend that you book a free session with our SaPa expert to understand how to plan your classes.

Yes, they have been tremendously popular with our students! SaPa’s students have enjoyed their online music classes these last two years. Credit must go to SaPa’s teachers for this as they made class a second home for the students. They also followed a policy of ‘enjoying while learning’, which aptly reflects SaPa’s vision of music. So, whether you attend Western music classes in Bangalore (at our centre) or attend online, expect to have a FUN time learning!

In the special case of emergencies, SaPa’s educators will definitely accommodate requests to reschedule classes. We would just like to request here that, if possible, you inform us 24 hours in advance.
