Why Ukulele for Beginners Classes?

Every parent will vouch for the fact that the adolescent years are the most challenging phase of parenthood. The proverbial angry, moody, and confused teenager can baffle the most patient among us. Teens know what has to be done, but don’t know how to do it, know what they need but don’t know how to achieve it. If only you could spur their creative juices and infuse enthusiasm in them, it would be the perfect solution to counter their moodiness and lack of direction. As they are at an age where they have outgrown many activities, your options may seem limited. It is keeping in mind this age group and their needs that SaPa has designed the Ukulele for Beginners class.

Help your teenager feel 'cool' while playing the ukulele, a string instrument, one of the most difficult types to master. This enhances their sense of self-worth and gives them a feeling of achievement. Learning an instrument gives them a solid foundation in music; they learn basic warm-up exercises that will stay with them throughout their music learning. They will also learn some interesting tips on giving a performance.

I am interested but I have some more questions…

In the Ukulele for Beginners course, children will learn to play a string instrument, the ukulele. It provides a solid foundation to them to develop their playing skills. It also helps teenagers feel empowered as it spurs their creativity.

SaPa has professionally trained music educators with vast experience in singing, playing, and giving stage performances.

There will be a maximum of 15 children in a batch.

It would be great if you could spare just 45 minutes a day for these classes. Continuity and regularity enhance your child’s learning power. Having said that, if you are not able to attend a class, it would be good to let your educator know so they can advise you on how best to ensure maximum learning.

Yes, classes will be held on Zoom or Skype.

Unfortunately no, since they are going to be conducted during the Dussehra vacations.

Don’t worry, we have selected popular tracks. Your teen will enjoy it especially when he/she discovers his/her ability to play it independently. SaPa’s approach of learning with fun helps make the class a joyful experience. They may go on to play the songs they like based on what they learn here.

The experience of teaching classes online in the last two years has helped us understand how to manage this. We will ensure that your child participates and plays correctly.
